I’m a Brooklyn based designer with a passion for coffee and color. I like to make things pretty and full of personality.
I moved to the city as an actress. When I needed a website I figured I had more time than money– I could do it myself! Plus I got a great eye for design so.... let's do this.
Turns out that is harder than it looks.
After many failed websites, late nights, and many cups of coffee, I had a website. Add years of learning, dozens more projects, new found skills in CSS and HTML, plus mix in a whole suite of adobe programs (hello indesign, photoshop, lightroom, premier…) with a fast-developing obsession with beautiful, functional design and you get the launch of Design Root Studio.
When it comes down to it - I just want to help you make a unique site that you love, without the headache and heartache. And I still have a soft spot for actors looking to make their mark.
